I observe that most of us tend to think our life is made of the things we have scheduled and the people we feel responsible for/to.
We forget to include ourself in that.
More than the things outside of ourselves, I feel WE are our life - experiencing ourselves, our feelings, our energy experientially through all of those outside things.
In the middle of all we do - consciously including our awareness of our own sensorial participation can give us a more vivid experience and inform us that we get to choose our continued participation... or not.
Bonus - When what we are experiencing is exceptional for us...
I have a brand new grandson Zeke. There are moments when I hold him that I feel his newness, his smell is innocent, his features effortlessly exploring smiles/frowns/curiosity. I am filled with a sense that anything is possible for this soul in the world. That is one of my sensory "keepsake moments." When I find myself feeling hurried and a bit stressed, I can close my eyes for a moment and flood my own being with this sensory keepsake moment with Zeke - my "keepsake - Zeke/all is possible - moment." It is an awesome re-set for me!!! I want nothing but highest good for Zeke. Highest good to me means discovery for all he came to life to learn who he can be. That will include oh so many things wonderful and not so wonderful. Through it all, he will come to know his potential... and that potential is the same for me and my life - for you and your life.
What are some of your "keepsake moments" and how can they provide an instant re-set for you???
